The universe is a lotus and today it blooms.  Yesterday and all the yesterdays that lie below us have been a time of stem building.  Today we rest on the stem of our past, but we come to a time of difference.  Today is the day of blooming, a time of new understanding, a time when life opens and allows the sun to light our way and warm our path.

   This is not a day for repeating the way of making stem.  Stem building belongs to yesterdays.  This is the day the universe opens to new textures, new directions and new possibilities.  This day is the dream of creation.
